Youth & Women

The United Kingdoms of Bamenda (UKB) recognizes that no nation can rise without investing in its women and youth. They are not just beneficiaries of change—they are the drivers of transformation, innovation, and national renewal.

Our Youth & Women Empowerment Initiative is designed to unleash the full potential of these dynamic populations by removing barriers, expanding opportunities, and fostering leadership at every level of society.

In UKB, youth are viewed as assets—not liabilities. Through national programs, young people gain access to leadership training, entrepreneurship bootcamps, digital literacy tools, and creative innovation hubs. Whether it’s launching a tech startup, leading a community project, or contributing to public policy, UKB empowers youth to lead with purpose and vision.

We also prioritize job creation and employment access through vocational training, internship placement, and support for entry into high-demand sectors like agriculture, digital services, construction, and the creative economy. A growing youth population is not a challenge—it is a competitive advantage when guided with skill and strategy.

Women’s empowerment is a national priority. UKB supports women in accessing small business loans, cooperative funding, education opportunities, and legal protection from discrimination and violence. From rural farms to urban boardrooms, women are stepping into roles as leaders, builders, and policy influencers.

The National Gender Equity Framework ensures that women have equal representation in public offices, land ownership rights, and participation in peacebuilding and decision-making processes. Our programs support both economic and social empowerment, recognizing the essential role women play in nurturing families, communities, and institutions.

Special initiatives are also in place for single mothers, young girls, and women in post-conflict areas, offering psycho-social support, skills training, and tools for long-term economic resilience.

Youth and women are no longer waiting to be included—they are leading the movement for inclusion.

With the right tools, trust, and opportunities, UKB’s young people and women will not only change their own lives—they will change the nation.
